Passport Please
Aug 5th – 9th, 2024
Ages 6-11
In a small town, kids don’t often get to experience a world of different cultures. However, in this camp, they’ll explore 8 different and distinct cultures from around the world, stamping their self-made passport as they go. Students will learn about the language, clothes, food, and cultural practices of places from almost every continent. They’ll also get to hear from people from some of those cultures. Students will also get to share their own cultures with each other. They will also get outside, play games, and build social-emotional skills.
Full-Day camp runs from 9 am to 3 pm. Half-Day Mornings run from 9 am to 12 pm. Half-Day Afternoons run from 12 pm to 3 pm. Students in both the morning and afternoon will receive a snack and outdoor time. Full-Day students will also have time to eat lunch which parents are welcome to pack or pay a small fee for.
